Job Description
Join our team at Aldi as a Full-Time Store Associate, where you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and inviting store environment. By delivering exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the Aldi team, you will help create an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) required for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
- Monitor inventory accuracy, conduct store inventory counts, and report issues to management.
- Adhere to cash-handling policies and minimize losses by following procedures.
- Comply with company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality.
- Complete any other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Proficient in providing courteous customer service and operating a cash register.
- Skilled in safely operating equipment such as electric/manual hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior retail experience desirable.
