Job Description
Join our team at ALDI as a Full-Time Store Associate working 32-40 hours per week. As a Store Associate, you'll play a key role in ensuring our store is well-organized, provides excellent customer service, and maintains high standards of cleanliness. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you'll enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, perform general cleaning, and stock shelves neatly
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Give feedback to management on products, inventory, and any issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses
- Follow company policies while maintaining document and data security
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
- Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning duties
- Excellent communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and can multitask
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales, if applicable
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
