Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure neat merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers and communicating effectively with the team.
- Collaborate with colleagues and provide feedback to management on various store operations.
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
- Follow company policies and uphold document security and confidentiality.
Physical Demands
- Ability to handle products weighing up to 45 pounds and perform various physical tasks throughout the store.
- Must be comfortable working independently or within a team environment.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Proficient in providing prompt, courteous customer service.
- Able to operate a cash register efficiently and handle store equipment.
- Capable of understanding and applying company policies and procedures.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
- Meet all state and local requirements for beverage handling and sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
