Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers by merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. You will collaborate with the Aldi team to uphold the company's standards and provide top-notch customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Deliver exceptional customer service and support a positive shopping experience
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Provide feedback on product quality, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- Capability to perform cleaning tasks to company standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
