Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker to join our ALDI team. As a Cashier or Stocker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by operating registers, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and providing exceptional service to our customers.

Position Type:

Part-Time
Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with team members, maintain document security and confidentiality, and perform other assigned duties.
Cashier Responsibilities: Process customer purchases, stock shelves, ensure customer satisfaction, provide feedback, and adhere to cash policies.
Stocker Responsibilities: Stock shelves, create merchandised displays, manage inventory, and follow safety procedures.

Physical Demands:

Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, carry, and operate machinery safely.
For Stockers, the ability to lift items weighing up to 45 pounds.

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years or older, provide excellent customer service, follow cleaning standards, communicate effectively, work independently and in a team, manage time efficiently, and know company products and policies.
Education and Experience: High School Diploma preferred, retail experience a plus.
