Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. As a key member of the store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and ensuring the store's cleanliness while providing exceptional customer service.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate professionalism and adherence to company standards.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory management and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficient in cash register operations and equipment handling.
- Capable of performing cleaning tasks to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
- Compliance with state and local regulations on alcohol handling.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
