Job Description
We are hiring a Customer Service and Stock Specialist at Aldi. This full-time position involves merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience for our customers. As part of the ALDI team, you will collaborate with team members, communicate effectively, and contribute to the overall store management. Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
- Report feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to the management.
- Participate in store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and comply with company procedures.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register.
- Safely operate equipment such as hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Interpret and apply company policies.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Work independently and within a team environment.
- Follow instructions, pay attention to detail, and multi-task effectively.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol handling and sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- A combination of education and experience equivalent to the requirements.
