Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is merchandised, stocked, and maintained to create an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will work collaboratively with the Aldi team to provide outstanding customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and established company procedures.
- Comply with company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient and accurate operation of a cash register.
- Proper operation of equipment and adherence to cleaning standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience preferred.
- Equivalent knowledge through education and experience.
