Job Description
Join our team as a Full-Time Store Associate at Aldi, where you will play a critical role in ensuring our store operates smoothly and provides exceptional customer service. As a Store Associate, you will handle various responsibilities including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to create a welcoming shopping environment for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers and collaborating effectively with team members and management.
- Report product feedback, inventory discrepancies, and operational issues to management.
- Conduct store inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
- Comply with company policies and procedures, ensuring document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years old to work at ALDI.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Ability to operate a cash register accurately and efficiently.
- Skilled in using various equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Capable of interpreting and applying company policies.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
- Meet all state and local requirements for handling alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is advantageous.
- A combination of education and experience matching required knowledge.
