Part Time Cashier/Stocker

Job Description

Enhance the ALDI customer shopping experience in a collaborative team environment as an ALDI Cashier or Stocker. As a member of our team, you’ll be operating the registers or other machinery, stocking our shelves, keeping our stores looking their best, and serving our customers. Position Type:

Part-Time

Average Hours:

Fewer than 30 hours per week

Starting Wage:

$18.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to direct leader.
• Uphold the security and confidentiality of documents and data within the area of responsibility.
• Process customer purchases, perform general cleaning duties, stock shelves, and merchandise displays neatly.
• Stock shelves, rotate product properly, follow merchandising planograms, and organize new inventory.

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.

Stocker: Ability to stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds from store receiving to shelving.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Effective time management.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred. A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
