Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a key member of our store operations, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, stocking merchandise, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Exhibit ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly arrange merchandise
  • Deliver top-notch customer service and assist shoppers
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
  • Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
  • Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling procedures
  • Follow company policies and uphold data security and confidentiality
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Proficient in customer service and cash register operation
  • Capable of using equipment and maintaining cleanliness standards
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively
  • Compliance with alcohol handling and sales regulations

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience is a plus
  • Combination of education and experience equivalent is acceptable
