Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies and professional skills as outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays.
- Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with management.
- Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling policies.
- Follow company policies diligently to ensure store security and data confidentiality.
- Complete other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old to work at ALDI.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and various retail equipment.
- Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain store standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
- Meet all state and local requirements for alcohol sales if applicable.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and relevant experience is acceptable.
