Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI store. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store environment to ensure an excellent shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills required for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness in the store, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, monitor inventory accuracy, and follow cash policies diligently.
• Adhere to company procedures and policies while ensuring the security of documents and data.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of general cleaning duties and following company guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Meet local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail work experience is advantageous.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
