Job Description: 1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently fulfilling orders, relocating merchandise, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining warehouse appearance standards, and collaborating effectively with peers and management.
Responsibilities:
- Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders.
- Relocate merchandise within the warehouse following guidelines.
- Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
- Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain warehouse appearance.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
- Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and leadership for effective communication.
- Provide input for process improvement to management.
- Inspect product for quality, safety, and sanitation compliance.
- Independently make decisions within delegated responsibilities.
- Assist in achieving budgeted goals.
- Complete tasks accurately and efficiently according to company policies.
- Follow ergonomic and safety guidelines while operating equipment.
- Report product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues to management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older.
- Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic arithmetic skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting up to 45 pounds, moving merchandise, bending, reaching, and walking.
- Working in varying temperatures, including outdoor and cold environments.
- Operation of powered industrial equipment.
