Job Description
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Director of Pharmacometrics to join our team at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. This remote position offers the opportunity to lead strategic initiatives in pharmacometrics programs for compounds in oncology, from discovery through post-marketing. As a key player in our organization, you will be involved in planning, overseeing, and reporting on pharmacometrics activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and fostering a culture of innovation and transparency.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee pharmacometrics-related drug development plans and regulatory filings.
- Apply model-informed drug development principles to guide decision-making processes.
- Manage and develop a high-performing pharmacometrics team, driving collaboration and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain a high level of scientific excellence in pharmacometrics activities.
- Participate in interactions with regulatory agencies and contribute to the evaluation of potential in-licensing candidates.
- Other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
Requirements
- PhD in pharmaceutical sciences, engineering, statistics, mathematics, or related field.
- 12+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Proven leadership in pharmacometrics, including team building and talent development.
- Proficiency in quantitative analyses and pharmacometrics software.
- Experience in regulatory interactions and managing collaborations with external partners.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in oncology is preferred.
