1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are hiring a 1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate for Aldi. The position offers 30-35 hours per week with starting wages ranging from $18.50 to $24.50 per hour based on shift differentials. The role involves receiving stock, organizing merchandise, loading goods for shipment, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating effectively with peers and management.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to meet warehouse standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Interact effectively with coworkers, suppliers, and management.
• Provide input for process improvement to warehouse management.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
• Work independently within delegated responsibilities.
• Assist warehouse management in meeting goals.

Requirements

• Ability to work with or without reasonable accommodations.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Competence in basic arithmetic, verbal and written communication.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Physical capability to lift and move up to 45 pounds, operate industrial equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
