1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling stock, organizing merchandise, and ensuring warehouse safety and cleanliness to meet our operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment preparation.
• Maintain warehouse appearance standards through general cleaning.
• Assist in taking inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements to warehouse management.
• Inspect product quality and address safety and sanitation concerns.
• Independently handle tasks within delegated responsibilities.
• Support warehouse management in achieving operational goals.
• Follow safety guidelines and ergonomic procedures.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Competencies include acting conscientiously, collaborating with teams, maintaining a positive attitude, driving for success, and organizing tasks efficiently.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies, communicate effectively, perform basic mathematical equations, pay attention to detail, and work independently or in a team environment.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
