1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are currently hiring for a 1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate role at Aldi. The position entails various responsibilities including receiving and stocking merchandise, preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating with team members. The ideal candidate should exhibit attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically.
• Perform general cleaning duties and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and report issues.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, and walk.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate industrial equipment.
