Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Operations Supervisor to join ALDI, a leading company in the retail industry. As a Warehouse Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- Establish and modify daily work schedules to meet warehouse needs.
- Coordinate and supervise daily tasks and activities of warehouse personnel.
- Oversee receiving, selection, and shipping of products to stores.
- Monitor processes for inbound and outbound deliveries to ensure compliance.
- Implement action plans to enhance operational results.
- Communicate job responsibilities, performance expectations, and company values to warehouse personnel.
- Collaborate with other operational areas and management.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and safety guidelines.
- Lead training and development of warehouse associates.
- Supervise and evaluate employees' performance; provide feedback and coaching.
- Manage inventory, expenses, and employee payroll.
- Create a safe working environment by identifying and addressing hazards.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop warehouse teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and excellent communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
