Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in efficiently managing incoming and outgoing stock, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating with warehouse leadership and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise based on product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and report quality and safety concerns.
• Perform all assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Operate equipment following safety protocols.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 45 pounds.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic arithmetic skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Capability to work independently and in a team environment.
