1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. As a full-time employee, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, and preparing shipments. You will collaborate with peers and warehouse leadership to maintain a clean and safe work environment while achieving operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Organize and relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Load and unload shipments, maintaining warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and achieve budgeted goals.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation compliance.
• Operate equipment safely and follow company procedures.
• Perform assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientious acts, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, efficiency, and resilience.
• Interpret company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic arithmetic skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk.
• Work in varying temperatures and safely operate powered industrial equipment.
