1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week, starting wage ranging from $20.75 to $26.75 per hour, with a 7:00 AM start time for the 1st shift.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise in line with product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment, and unload incoming shipments.
• Perform general cleaning duties, conduct inventory counts, and cooperate with peers and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement, inspect product quality, and achieve budgeted goals.
• Follow safety guidelines, report issues, and carry out all assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or above.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Organized, efficient with excellent communication and basic arithmetic skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at different heights.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment safely.
