1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a Part-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our warehouse operations, ensuring that products are received, selected, and delivered efficiently to our stores for our customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise in accordance with handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise in preparation for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain warehouse standards.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse management for effective communication.
• Provide feedback to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality and safety compliance.
• Assist in achieving warehouse budget goals.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret company policies and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting products up to 45 pounds, moving merchandise, and operating powered industrial equipment.
• Standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and walking in varying temperatures.
