Job Description

We are hiring for the position of 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler at Aldi. Our warehouse operations ensure the efficient receipt, selection, and delivery of products to our stores, catering to our expanding customer base. As a warehouse package handler, you will be part of a team dedicated to working in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, with comprehensive training and safety programs provided for your success.

Position Details

• Job Type: Part-Time
• Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $23.75 per hour

Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Organize, relocate, and load merchandise according to guidelines.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Interact with peers, suppliers, and management for effective warehouse operations.
• Participate in inventory counts and contribute to process improvements.
• Perform all assigned tasks accurately and in compliance with company procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to demonstrate conscientious, collaborative, positive, success-driven, and organized behaviors.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move items up to 45 pounds.
• Comfortable working in variable temperatures.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
