1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. The position offers an average of 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of up to $18.00 - $22.00 per hour, based on shift and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently receive and select incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Move and organize merchandise in the warehouse following guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect product quality and safety adherence.
• Operate equipment safely and notify management of any issues.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and efficiency.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, and walk in various environments.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
