1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. Our warehouse plays a critical role in ensuring products are received, selected, and delivered efficiently to our stores, catering to the needs of our growing customer base. As a part-time position, you will work fewer than 30 hours per week in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas. You can expect a starting wage of $23.75 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Move merchandise within the warehouse according to guidelines.
• Organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving goals.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrated ability to conscientiously perform tasks and collaborate with the team.
• Positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Efficient organization and execution skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures.
