1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This role offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of up to $18.00-$22.00 per hour. You will be working on Schedule B, requiring weekend availability on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities:

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to warehouse guidelines.
• Prepare merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and collaborate effectively with colleagues and suppliers.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and safety.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrates concern for quality, safety, and teamwork.
• Adaptable to challenges and change.
• Driven for success and efficient in operations.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varied temperatures.
