1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a Full-Time employee, you will work 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of up to $18.50 - $24.50 per hour based on shift and schedule. The position entails efficiently handling and relocating merchandise, maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety, collaborating with peers and leadership, and contributing to process improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in inventory counts.
• Cooperate effectively with team members and suppliers.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect products and report quality issues.
• Perform assigned tasks efficiently and according to policies.
• Follow safety guidelines and ergonomic procedures.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt positively to challenges.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate industrial equipment.
