Job Description
We are looking for Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handlers to join our team at Aldi. The position involves efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and participating in warehouse inventory counts. This role requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, adhere to safety guidelines, and maintain warehouse standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock.
- Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
- Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
- Clean and maintain warehouse appearance.
- Cooperate with peers and warehouse leadership.
- Provide input for process improvements.
- Inspect product for quality and safety.
Qualifications
- 18 years or older.
- Demonstrates conscientious and collaborative behavior.
- Positive attitude and adaptability.
- Efficient organizational and execution skills.
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Basic arithmetic abilities.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and operate warehouse equipment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 45 pounds and move merchandise.
- Stand, bend, reach, and walk throughout the warehouse.
- Work in hot/cold environments.
