1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are hiring a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join Aldi's team on a full-time basis. The position offers an average of 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage ranging from $19.50 to $23.50 per hour based on shift and schedule differential pay. Various schedules are available, including Schedule D and Schedule B.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders.
• Relocate merchandise in accordance with product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and quality control.
• Independently make decisions to achieve department goals.
• Operate equipment safely and report any issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, resilience, drive for success, and organizational efficiency.

Educational and Physical Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, operate powered industrial equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
