1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are hiring a full-time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. The position offers 30-35 hours per week with starting wages ranging from $20.75 to $26.75 per hour based on shift and schedule differential pay. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a vital role in receiving, sorting, organizing, and relocating merchandise within the warehouse to fulfill store orders efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively within the team.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect product quality and assist in achieving budget goals.
• Perform tasks efficiently following company procedures.
• Operate equipment safely according to guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
