1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. As a full-time position, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating with the warehouse team.

Shift Schedules

• Schedule A1: Wed-Sun
• Schedule A2: Fri-Tue
• Schedule B: Rotating weekends
• Schedule C: Every other weekend
• Schedule D: Mon-Fri

Key Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
• Perform physical tasks throughout the warehouse.
