1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. Our warehouse operation plays a crucial role in ensuring products are efficiently received, sorted, and delivered to our stores. As a part-time position, you will work fewer than 30 hours per week in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas. You will receive a starting wage of $23.75 per hour and comprehensive training to excel in your role.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders efficiently.
• Move merchandise within the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
• Load and unload shipments, maintaining warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and collaborate with team members and leadership.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to achieving warehouse goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 45 pounds, operate warehouse equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
