1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are hiring a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This is a Full-Time position with an average of 30-35 hours per week. The starting wage ranges from $19.00 to $23.00 per hour, based on shift and schedule. The 1st Shift begins at 7:00 AM.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise in the warehouse according to guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning to maintain warehouse standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with team members and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect products for quality and safety.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Operate equipment and follow safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt positively to challenges.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move products up to 45 pounds.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk throughout the warehouse.
