1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. The role involves efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness. As an essential part of the warehouse operations, you will collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to ensure the ongoing success of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders accurately.
• Relocate merchandise in accordance with handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise efficiently.
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain warehouse cleanliness.
• Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and safety compliance.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, and resilience.
• Possess strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical ability to lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
