1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are hiring a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our dynamic team at Aldi. Our warehouse operations ensure the proper receipt, selection, and delivery of products to our stores for our growing customer base. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week, with a starting wage of $23.75 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise in the warehouse according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming deliveries.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate with warehouse leadership for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and collaborate with management on safety and sanitation issues.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines and report any concerns.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency in work.
• Ability to interpret company policies, communicate effectively, and follow instructions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 45 pounds, work in varying temperatures, and operate powered industrial equipment.
