1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are hiring for the position of 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler at Aldi. This is a full-time role with an average of 30-35 hours per week. The starting wage ranges from $18.50 to $24.50 per hour, based on the shift and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders.
• Relocate merchandise in the warehouse according to guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain warehouse standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physically able to lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
