1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are hiring a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing incoming stock, organizing merchandise, and ensuring proper shipment preparation. The position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to safety guidelines to maintain the warehouse's productivity and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse based on handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment; unload incoming deliveries.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness to meet safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement to warehouse management.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Demonstrates concern for quality, safety, and collaborates effectively with the team.
• Adapts positively to challenges, drives for success, and works efficiently.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in various temperatures and move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
