1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as 1st Shift Warehouse Stockers at Aldi. As a Warehouse Stocker, you will play a crucial role in fulfilling orders received from stores, maintaining warehouse standards, and collaborating with the team to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Perform general cleaning duties and participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to maintain effective communication.
• Provide input to improve processes and assist in achieving warehouse goals.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
• Operate equipment safely and follow warehouse procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic arithmetic skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and move products up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to operate powered industrial equipment and work in varying temperatures.
