Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. Our warehouse operations play a crucial role in ensuring that products are received, selected, and delivered efficiently to our stores, serving our growing customer base. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week, with a competitive starting wage of $23.75 per hour.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts and provide input for process improvement.
- Cooperate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
- Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
- Operate equipment following safety guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- Ability to work conscientiously, collaborate with the team, maintain a positive attitude, drive for success, and execute efficiently.
- Interpret and apply company policies, communicate effectively, perform arithmetic equations, pay attention to detail, and work independently or in a team.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
- Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, and work in varying temperatures.
- Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
