1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are hiring a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join Aldi, a leading retail company. As a Warehouse Stocker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient handling of merchandise and stock within the warehouse. The position offers competitive starting wages based on shifts and schedules, ranging from $18.50 to $24.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise in preparation for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and report any concerns to management.
• Work independently within delegated responsibilities and assist in achieving warehouse goals.
• Operate equipment safely and follow established procedures.
• Perform assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret company policies, communicate effectively, and work both independently and in a team environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Physically move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
