1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our growing team at Aldi. This position involves efficiently selecting and processing incoming stock, organizing merchandise within the warehouse, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently as well as collaboratively, demonstrate attention to detail, and uphold the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Organize and relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Prepare shipments by strategically loading merchandise.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and address safety concerns.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
