1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are hiring a 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. This is a full-time position with an average of 30-35 hours per week. The starting wage is up to $20.75 - $26.75 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay. The 1st Shift starts at 7:00 AM.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and report issues to management.
• Follow safety guidelines and company procedures.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positivity, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret company policies, communicate effectively, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently or in a team environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and physically demanding conditions.
