1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

Aldi is looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our warehouse operations team. Our warehouse staff plays a crucial role in ensuring products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores to meet the needs of our growing customer base. This part-time position offers an opportunity to work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately and efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse based on handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving warehouse goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate quality, safety, and productivity principles outlined by ALDI Acts competencies.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when necessary.
• Basic arithmetic skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical capability to lift up to 45 pounds, operate powered industrial equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
