1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a crucial part of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, and ensuring warehouse cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise in preparation for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Collaborate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and report any issues.
• Follow warehouse safety guidelines and procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Capability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment is a plus.
