Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join Aldi, a renowned company known for its commitment to quality and vibrant work environment. As a Warehouse Team Member, you will play a crucial role in efficiently managing incoming stock, organizing merchandise, and ensuring warehouse operations run smoothly. You will collaborate closely with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to maintain high standards of productivity and safety.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to uphold warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation compliance.
• Operate equipment safely and according to guidelines.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and warehouse management.
• Adhere to ALDI Acts Competencies related to conscientious work and collaboration.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Capability to perform basic arithmetic equations.
• Detail-oriented and follows instructions accurately.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift products up to 45 pounds at various heights.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse and prepare for deliveries.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments.
