Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 3rd Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join the team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of the warehouse, ensuring timely order fulfillment and maintaining warehouse standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders efficiently.
- Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and warehouse leadership.
- Provide feedback on process improvements and assist warehouse management in achieving goals.
- Inspect product quality, address safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
- Perform tasks accurately and efficiently following company procedures.
- Operate equipment safely following guidelines.
Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to interpret company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic arithmetic skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
- Engage in various physical activities like bending, reaching, lifting, and walking.
- Work in varying temperatures, including outdoor and cold environments.
- Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
