Job Description

ABF Freight, an ArcBest company, is currently seeking a dedicated Operations Supervisor to join our team in Denver, CO. As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the timely and safe loading/unloading of freight, ensuring proper load balance for vehicle operation, assigning job tasks, providing training and feedback to workers, and maintaining a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control available resources for loading/unloading freight.
• Maintain load plans and ensure proper load balance for safe operation.
• Assign job tasks, monitor performances, and provide training and feedback.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment and handle hazardous materials safely.
• Support a values-driven culture and collaborate with the team to achieve department goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience in transportation and freight handling is a plus.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• General knowledge of freight handling techniques.
