ArcBest II ABF Freight, a leading LTL carrier, is seeking a dedicated Operations Supervisor to join our team. As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the loading/unloading of freight, ensuring efficient and safe operations on assigned shifts.

General Responsibilities:

• Plan, supervise, and control resources for timely, damage-free, and safe freight handling.
• Maintain load plans and ensure proper load balance for safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks, monitor performance, and provide training and feedback to team members.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment, emphasizing the safe handling of materials.
• Support a values-driven culture focused on integrity, collaboration, growth, and wellness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in transportation or related field, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of freight handling techniques.
