Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aldi. Our warehouse operations play a crucial role in ensuring that products are received, picked, and delivered efficiently to our stores for our growing number of customers. As a warehouse associate, you will work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, with an average workweek of 30 to 35 hours. Extensive training and safety programs are in place to equip our associates with the skills needed for success.

Starting Salary:
Up to $18.00 - $22.00 USD per hour (based on shift and schedule differential pay)
Responsibilities
- Receive and select incoming stock efficiently to effectively fulfill orders from stores.
- Reallocate merchandise throughout the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
- Strategically sort, organize, and load merchandise to prepare for shipping and unload incoming truck/transport returns.
- Engage in general cleaning tasks to meet warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts as per guidelines.
- Efficiently cooperate and interact with colleagues, suppliers, and warehouse leaders through continuous communication and information exchange.
- Provide feedback to warehouse management on process improvement opportunities.
- Inspect the product, consult with warehouse management on product quality, safety concerns, and hygiene issues.
- Act and make decisions independently within the delegated area of responsibility.
- Assist warehouse management in achieving budgeted goals.
- Perform all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and in line with company policies and procedures.
- Follow the ergonomics program as per established procedures.
- Operate equipment following safety guidelines in performing essential job functions.
- Notify management of product quality, safety concerns, and hygiene issues.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift and place products weighing up to 20 kg at various heights on pallets.
- Frequently move warehouse inventory and prepare product for store deliveries.
- Continuously stand or sit, bend, stretch limbs, grip or push objects, lift and carry objects, and walk around the warehouse.
- Work continuously in varying temperatures, hot and cold (including outdoor temperatures and refrigerator/freezer environments).
- Ability to safely and properly operate motorized industrial equipment.
